I tried to reproduce the problem on Windows XP. Everything seems to be ok, however there can be something wrong with my configuration. Are you able to check if the problem is reproducible on Windows XP too? Hi, How did you set your windows OS locale to Hebrew? I can try but not sure how to do this. There are regional settings under Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options. Please let me know if it helps. Hi Szymon, I did install the Hebrew language pack so that I could create a directory with Hebrew characters and indeed the New Project works without errors/exception... is this the test you tried? The defect indicates the problem occurs when the windows locale is set to Hebrew... my understanding is this means you configure windows OS to start up in Hebrew, i.e. locale is set to Hebrew and Windows OS menu items etc. are all in Hebrew as would be the eclipse menu items etc....is this the test you tried? No. Could you give me access to the machine with Windows in Hebrew? Hi, I do not presently have access to a Hebrew machine, but expect I will again early in the new year for PII testing. (In reply to comment #7) > I do not presently have access to a Hebrew machine, but expect I will again > early in the new year for PII testing. Sounds good Eric. Let's give it a try as soon as you get it. Fortunately I found Ira, who has Windows Server 2003 with Hebrew locale. She was not able to reproduce it. Closing as WORKSFORME. *** Bug 157344 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
