Bug 241741

Summary: Adding missing jars now much harder than pre 3.4
Product: [Eclipse Project] JDT Reporter: Sean Crotty <scrotty>
Component: UIAssignee: JDT-UI-Inbox <jdt-ui-inbox>
Status: RESOLVED DUPLICATE QA Contact:
Severity: normal
Priority: P3 CC: markus.kell.r
Version: 3.4
Target Milestone: ---
Hardware: PC
OS: Windows Vista
Whiteboard:

Description Sean Crotty CLA 2008-07-22 16:15:06 EDT
Build ID: I20080617-2000

Steps To Reproduce:
1. Have an Eclipse 3.4 project with a missing jar
2. Go to Project Properties -> Java Build Path -> Libraries -> Add JARs...

More information:
What used to show up (pre 3.4) in the "JAR Selection" dialog that comes up after completing step #2 above was a list of only the JARs that weren't in the Project already.

Now the list shows every JAR - even those already in the project! This makes it harder to find the missing JAR you're looking for.

This used to work "properly" in 3.3. If it was changed on purpose, please consider making the old behavior an option.
