I have set the week start to Monday but the weeks in the picker for the scheduled date show Sunday as the first day of the week.

I think that this is actually a problem that Mylyn allows users to set a different week start than what their system locale is.  There is no way to set the start day of the week for the systems calendar widget other than by changing the system locale.

Thanks for looking into this. We should add a setting to the preferences then to use the system default and a message that informs the user that the setting will only affect scheduling.
