Increasing the size will help, but depending on platform and font, and names of sites, etc...we will never get a correct default value for all users. Bug 212047 covers remembering the user's resize of the column width and distributing the extra space across the columns. I think doing these things will accomplish what you want, so I'm marking this as a duplicate. Created attachment 107441 [details] size of Name and Location size of Name and Location in dialog "Available Software Sites" is too small. - Names are quite similar and can not be distinguished as they are too long and the tab "Name" is too small. please increase the size or better use a tree for grouping similar names/locations together - the same applies for the tab "Location". - on the right side there is a empty tab which is a wast of space.
