Description

Szymon, could you take a look at this? As far as I remember, you've already told me about this issue. This issue might actually be resolved now. See bug 260541 for an issue where the CVS access was actually broken by changing the proxy settings, so the proxy settings do seem to have some impact on the CVS connection. I only noticed that making the Proxy settings change take effect, quit & restart of Eclipse was necessary. Also see bug 106586 for something related. I cannot reproduce it using I20080617-2000 (3.4) or I20090202-1535. Wireshark reports outgoing connections to the specified proxy. Please provide more detailed steps because with given ones it looks like a duplicate of bug 246867. Also, please provide me with the information if the problem appears in the recent builds (like I20090202-1535) because some of the bugs has been fixed with new proxy UI introduced with bug 228739. Please reopen in case additional details are available. With current steps this is WORKSFORME, marking it accordingly. |
