Description Marek Stanczyk CLA 2008-07-07 05:54:32 EDT
Using the Structure compare view (Compare with/Revision) quite often (Java+SVN, more precisely).
The columns in the revision list (Revision/Tags/Date/Author/Comment) are too wide by default, but it's annoying that the view does not remember the widths when I change them.

My request is - please make the view remember the changed column widths in the revision list.

(if this is incorrect place to post this, please point me to the correct one)

Column widths are remembered in the History View (if this is what you meant by "the revision list") but only during current session. Your request sounds reasonable and this is the right place for it. Marek, have you considered creating a patch? You can count on me if you need help.

Columns

Siema :-) I mean this (Linux, btw).
As you see, I don't need the "Tags" column, more use would be to see the "Author", etc. I reduce the width, but when I close the Compare editor and reopen it, they're again like this.
I've never developed anything for Eclipse, and I'm not sure this would be the right time to start, I'm quite busy :-/

Ok, now I see your point. What kind of SVN plug-in do you use?
Comment 4 Marek Stanczyk CLA 2008-07-15 06:48:13 EDT
It's Subclipse.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
