JIRA installations tend to be heavily customised.
For example having custom JIRA issue types.

Mylyn uses different icons for tasks of the standard JIRA issue types.

It would be nice if there was a way in the preferences to provide an icon to use for a specific custom JIRA issue type.

JIRA provides icon filenames when issue types are received from the server. This is currently stored in the icon property of the IssueType class. It should be possible to retrieve the icons, cache them and use them for decoration in the task list.

The Mylyn JIRA Connector has moved to Atlassian.
