Hi,

I use eclipse ide, on a mac 10.4. I have an american laptop (american keyboard). Because I usez a pc/french external keyboard I made my own keymap (an .keylayout file in the proper location). It works great. Except for the shortcuts in eclipse, for instance command-Z acts like command-W (Z and W are exchange between american-french keylayout).

So what happens is that when typing code typing Z from my external keyboard results in an Z on the screen (so far so good), but when pressing command-Z on my external keyboard it acts like command-W, while doing shorcuts eclipse does not take into account the proper keylayout but the layout of the physical keyboard (or the system default).

I checked this is not the case with other applications. Strange.

Best,

BrunoD.

This seems to be a duplicate of bug 153432. Sorry about that.
