Description

Hi Pablo. Could you please give steps to reproduce this problem? Is it enought to just synchronize an existing XPlanner query or an XPlanner task? Is this an issue with Mylyn 3.0 and the XPlanner 3.0 connector? Thanks -Helen Hi Helen. The software versions are: Mylyn Bridge: Eclipse IDE 2.3.2.v20080402-2100 Mylyn Bridge: Java Development 2.3.2.v20080402-2100 Mylyn Connector: XPlanner (Incubation) 2.3.1.v20080312-1300 Mylyn Focused UI: 2.3.2.v20080402-2100 Mylyn Task List: 2.3.2.v20080402-2100 This problem raises sinchronizing query with xplanner (ver. 0.7b7). Eclipse automatically synchronyzes with xplanner on start up. So whenever you try to synchronize an XPlanner query, you get an empty error message in the log? That does sound suspicious... Does the query actually update? I will look at the code more, and check if I can reproduce the problem. I think error reporting should be somewhat improved in the more recent version of the connector. Mylyn hasn't all task from xplanner. The analyst types the tasks on xplanner, he told me that mylyn can fail because some task has wrong characters to xml (<, >, ...). The XPlanner connector is no longer being maintained and supported as part of the Mylyn project. If you require support for the XPlanner connector please consider options provided by 3rd parties: http://eclipse.org/mylyn/support/. |
