Steps To Reproduce:
1. Create versions 1.0.8 and 1.0.10 in that order for a product in Bugzilla
2. Create a new bug using Mylyn
3. Mylyn automatically selects version is 1.0.8, while Bugzilla will select 1.0.10 by default


More information:
While using the Bugzilla web interface, it sorts the list of versions in the same order they were created, thus the web-interface will correctly select 1.0.10 by default. I did this against a Bugzilla 3.0.4 server. Since I enter a lot of enhancement bugs for my code into Bugzilla via Mylyn, I constantly have to remember to adjust the version field.

I agree that this would be a helpful addition. Can we retrieve the original ordering from Bugzilla or do we need to file an enhancement request?

Actual ther is no way to get the sortorder for this.

I think we need to wait until I have finished the Bugzilla webservice patches.

if you have an Bugzilla with XMLRPC bug# 314744 supports the default Milestone.

bug# 312207 and bug# 314744 are solved so I think we can close this to. Maybe you need to support XML-RPC for the fix.
