Description Jonathan West CLA 2008-06-10 01:10:42 EDT
When profiling a remote Windows machine, if a process outputs console data and immediately terminates, the last two to four lines of that process's data are not seen on the Eclipse workbench side.

From what I have seen, the problem doesn't occur when profiling locally, doesn't occur on Linux machines, and doesn't occur on Windows IA64. Likewise, cases where 'enabled' or 'controlled' profiling modes are used, such as profiling a web app, the problem won't be observed.

I presume that as part of bug 201412, Stanislav's patch is closing a console file handle prematurely, which is preventing its contents from being transmitted. In fact, commenting out the following changes to TPTPProcessController.cpp eliminate the problem (but leave unfreed handles):

	if (console->in) cleanPipeUp(&console->in);
	if (console->out) cleanPipeUp(&console->out);
	if (console->err) cleanPipeUp(&console->err);
