Also... - The add/remove actions take place immediately but the check/uncheck don't take place until the user presses OK. Consider making the checkmarks immediate. - We do not prompt with "are you sure" when a user removes a site. Note we may replace this dialog as part of bug #218534. From bug #240796: - Buttons "Import" and "Export" apply to ALL elements, not only the selected ones. This is not obvious as "Add" and "Remove" only applies to ONE element. So please either rename the "Import" and "Export" button to "Export All", etc. or make this operation context sensitive (single selection, multiple selection) *** Bug 240796 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Fixed >20081223. - the button is now gone and instead there is a link shown to the preference page, using the same name as the pref page. - the Properties button is gone because all relevant info is shown in the new dialog in place - none of the changes are honored until OK is pressed. The user can cancel at any time and all changes made will be cancelled - we now prompt on delete - import is not context sensitive since it involves importing everything from the file. I think we are fine - export is now context sensitive...only the selected sites are exported, or all of them if there is no selection |
