Steps To Reproduce:
1.Need to set the Page Borders for SimpleMasterPage 
2.Need to set the Page Border Color for SimpleMasterPage 
3.This is Need thru BIRT API and in BIRT Designer


More information:
When iam trying to set the Border for a page thru BIRT API property setting method it doesnt happen. Help me out this. i need a sample for this.

For Simple MasterPage, I think it doesn't support border property.

The simple master page supports the border properties. But the expected output is not BIRT defined borders. Currently, BIRT borders includes margins of a report item. While, the attached one looks that page borders should not include margins.

How can we set the Margin colors in SimpleMasterPage?

Is there any way pls tell me? and send me the example?

I need the report output with border/Margin colors.

Master page is a special case. Even though the user can set properties through properties view, there is no effect on UI and preview result. And for your attached output, haven't support yet.

so we cant set page border/margin with color.

In Actuate Earlier version (Actuate 8) we can set the borders for Page(Flows).

is this future will implement?

Support border in html/pdf/ppt/postscript/xls/ emitters. Still need to support page border in doc.

I assume this setting is on the master page advanced properties->box tab.
I set a double line border on top, left, right, and bottom and it shows up in HTML but not pdf.

I tried it on the latest daily build and there is no problem what you mentioned above.
There is a bug fixed several days ago, and the bug number is BUG 270089.
Could you try on the latest build? And if the problem still exists, please let me know.
