1. Open the Problems view
2. Go to the view toolbar menu > Preferences...
3. Type down a negative number("-6") and click OK

Result: Nothing happens and the negative number is saved in the view preferences

With the fix to Bug# 231081, the limits is a spinner that doesn't allow negative numbers
