Hi, i have a datasource from a dynamic connection profile file.

The path generated in the xml structure of the report or library is an absolute path of the configuration file.

I design my report (under Windows) and the path is for exemple : "C:/workspace/resources/myconnectionprofile.xml"

When i deploy my report, under a linux server, the connection file is not found and the report generation fails.

The path should be relative from the resources folder ??? As library and CSS.

Please give me a solution to solve that deployment problem.

See comments in bug 215497 on how to use BIRT's runtime property binding feature to specify a runtime value for the connection profile path property.
