This issues can be reproduced with the controls demo:
- Select VIRTUAL and add some hundreds items by pressing the button
- Now, use PageDown to scroll down quickly (holding down the key for a few seconds)

After some scrolling the selection is no longer visible. However, there's still one item selected, as the label on the right shows. Often, this is an item from the upper part of the list. This leads to the problem, that the PageUp key doesn't work, as the table selection is the first item, but the actually displayed items are in the middle of the table.

After the selection isn't displayed correctly, sometimes, the table doesn't show any items but is empty, when scrolling down further using the PageDown key quite quickly. Hopefully this is just a side effect and doesn't ocurr, when the selection handling works correctly.
