What version of gtk+ are you running? Where did you download Eclipse? eclipse is downloaded from the eclipse site. version is: Version: 3.3.2 Build id: M20080221-1800 I'm running opensuse 10.3 (64bit) with following packages installed gtk2-2.12.0-5.4 gtk2-32bit-2.12.0-5.4 gtk2-engines-2.12.0-4 gtkhtml2-3.16.0-3 gtk-1.2.10-993 gtk2-engines-32bit-2.12.0-4 Can you try starting Eclipse with the suggested method below? ./eclipse -vmargs -Dorg.eclipse.swt.internal.gtk.disablePrinting it seems that it helped I once started it with parameters you posted and it worked. Now it even works without parameters. Is that possible? (In reply to comment #4) > it seems that it helped > I once started it with parameters you posted and it worked. > Now it even works without parameters. > Is that possible?
