When the database is rebuilt it should keep track of all the tables it builds.  If there are others that exist they should be removed.  NOT ON PRODUCTION OR STAGING, though.  If they are not removed, swam.php fails to copy table data.  Additionally they can be confusing when looking at the DB tables.

I think we ought to use Gabe's run_demo.php instead.

We are no longer making significant changes in the existing portal. Marking as WONTFIX.
