org.eclipse.jdt plugin has dependencies on UI plugins: org.eclipse.ui.cheatsheets and org.eclipse.ui.intro

Is it possible to remove the dependencies or make the requirement optional?  Thanks.

org.eclipse.jdt is maintained by JDT/UI

This plug-in contains the JDT intro/welcome and hence needs to depend on those UI plug-ins.

Why do you need that plug-in at all and why would you need it to be independent of UI plug-ins?

After viewing the contain on the plugin I agree there is no way to remove those dependencies and the dependency on org.eclipse.jdt should be removed instead.  Thanks.
