I funny workaround I've been using is to: 1 - Start the screenshot attachment wizard. 2 - Focus the application I want to capture. 3 - Focus back the Eclipse window. 4 - Click the capture button, and quickly hit Alt+Tab. 5 - Since the capturing process has a delay of some seconds, it should give time to your aplication get focus, and at the time the capture is made, your app window should the active window, and will be captured. Yes, it is a quick-and-dirty workaround, and yes, we need a better solution :) How about supporting creating attachments from clipboard using image transfer data? (In reply to comment #2) > How about supporting creating attachments from clipboard using image transfer > data? Creating image attachments from the clipboard is now supported using the default attachment wizard. It could be nice addition to be able to use the screenshot wizard image editing facilities with images from the clipboard. Yup, it's great that we've got the image capture from clipbard now. But I think that it will be hard for people to find. Could we also add it as a "Paste from Clipboard" button on the "Attach Screenshot..." wizard? The additional benefit of that would be the ability to mark and crop. Willian: are you interested in providing the functionality from comment#4? Most capturing programs use either a user-configurable timeout or a hot key to activate the screenshot capture. Perhaps the "Capture desktop" button should be renamed to "Make screenshot" and should open a dialog that contains one or both of these options.
