Description

PRODUCT VERSION: 110 JDK Should do as part of cut/copy/paste improvements. Should also do in packages view if we do this. Implemented in ResourceNavigatorRenameAction Moving to JDT for consideration of similar in packages view. rename a Java element is more involved that a resource due to refactoring, i.e., we need to be able to show errors and surface options. Since we do not plan to support in place editing for 2.0, this one has to be deferred as well. Backed out of the fix and moved back to Platform UI See "Bug 2518 should be able to rename by clicking twice (1GFFEKT)" for a number of problems with the solution. This appears to be a hard problem to solve in a platform independent way. Reopen for investigation |
