User UI
When I hit the escape key on the update windows, nothing happens.

This caught me off guard too. The conflicting mnemonic on the 'C' key with the 'Check for updates...' and 'Close' buttons didn't help the cause. ;)

hmmm...it should work.
I just rechecked that the Firefox modeless add-ons dialog does close on ESC. Might be something in my style bits.

And, Remy, I'll fix those mnemonics at the same time. (I could have sworn I'd done that before)

fixed in HEAD as a consequence of fixing bug #222261. I'm defaulting to the normal dialog framework style bits for resizable dialogs and will not support modeless behavior unless there is time to work out all the side effects.
