Description Leo Dos Santos CLA 2008-03-04 14:42:11 EST
I've discovered that on a few projects I'm currently working on I require a mini-task list view that can be embedded into a form page, with some basic functionality such as activate/deactivate task and open task editor. Ideally there would be a class that would take a list of tasks and return a composite so that it can be reused in different codebases. I've taken a look in the Mylyn framework for something like that, since this would appear to be an obvious use case, but I haven't found what I'm looking for. Any pointers where I should be looking? Is there some code that can be refactored to provide what I need.

If you provide an abstract class for this, make sure to also provide an example implementation that shows how clients can use it (similar to what we have done for the desktop notifications, I can point you at the corresponding example and test).

Mylyn has been restructured, and our issue tracking has moved to GitHub [1].

We are closing ~14K Bugzilla issues to give the new team a fresh start. If you feel that this issue is still relevant, please create a new one on GitHub.
