What/where is the server-side code? How does it work? (In reply to comment #2) > What/where is the server-side code? How does it work? The server-side code isn't part of the EPP project, AFAIK it is in phoenix and consists of some PHP scripts. This would be greate because we re-direct the data to our internal server and if we could use the same post processor, it would save tiem and effort. Created attachment 139374 [details]
UDC Server code
With apologies for unacceptably tardy behaviour, I am attaching the server code for the UDC. It took considerable effort (including some reinvention) to detach it from the Foundation infrastructure. I've distilled it down to a functioning server. There are still pieces missing that I will fill in as I refactor it out of the Foundation infrastructure.
Markus, I think it can fit in EPP; any thoughts on where in CVS we can stick this?
Hi Wayne, Not a problem, and may thanks for the attachment. BR, Dom Hi Wayne, Not a problem, and many thanks for the attachment. BR, Dom All, I am going to close this bug. The code has been attached to this bug and is therefor available. The UDC itself is not being maintained for the time being. Thanks! I know it's been a while ... we're trying to run a UDC server in-house... thanks for the server zip, but the geoip table - required? what was used to populate it? something from maxmind? (In reply to comment #9) > I know it's been a while ... we're trying to run a UDC server in-house... > thanks for the server zip, but the geoip table - required? what was used to > populate it? something from maxmind? The geoip table is used to map IP addresses to a country. I'll leave it to you to decide if it's necessary. i.e. do you want to track the country of origin in your server? I know that the data comes from a free service, but I don't know the details. Webmaster should be able to shed some light. > something from maxmind?
