Description Lee Surprenant CLA 2008-02-19 11:15:46 EST
Seems like it would be very useful to allow users to specify working sets for the projects/artifacts being imported. This would be very useful for large project or projects with many dependencies in order to reduce the import of too many projects in the workspace.
Similar functionality exists for checkouts using project sets, though that has bugs as well (bug 209721).

I brought this up during the "Introduction to Buckminster" webinar and Thomas Hallgren/Stefan Daume requested a feature request.

Will this feature be implemented in the nearest future ?
It seems to me that it is pretty essential. There is no point to use Buckminster in order to materialize a small amount of projects into your workspace. On the other hand, if you materialize more than 40 projects without using some set of Working Sets it is extreme unhandy to work with the code in Eclipse.

Please let me (and others) know what are you going to do with that !

Currently there are no plans to implement this - contributions are always welcome ;-)

A place to start is to look at the WorkspaceMaterializer in the MSPEC.
