Where is the Window -> Show Toolbar menu option? It is still missing in latest builds. (In reply to comment #1) > It is still missing in latest > builds. I meant: it is missing in latest builds. On linux right clicking on the coolbar drag-bar shows the context menu with Hide Toolbar, and the Show Toolbar option is only in the Window menu if the coolbar is hidden. On Mac, though, I'm sure where the coolbar context menu is. It contains "Customize Perspective" and "Lock the Toolbars" as well. PW It is not a Mac-only bug. It is happening in Windows too, where there is no menu option, neither some place where to invoke the context menu. Fortunately, this setting is not being saved, and restarting Eclipse restores the toolbar. This was removed intentionally by bug 173927 but it should be appearing when the toolbar is hidden at least... punting to Tod. This is working for us in I20080205 on Windows and the Mac To clarify: the Show Toolbar menu item appears in the Window menu for both Tod and I running XP and OS X after hiding the toolbar. It does not appear when the toolbar is visible, however, and this is by design. |
