Let's say you have v1_0 of CVSTest project in your Eclipse workspace.

Then try to create a Branch from this starting point: Team/Branch..

In the dialog window "Create a new CVS Branch" you can enter a "Branch Name",
but not a "Version name" which is fined since you have a version of the project
in your workspace...but the version v1_0 should have been automaticallly
selected which is not the case...

It seems related to another bug: we don't see the version tag "v1_0" in the CVS
project's proterties when it's a version...

This seems to work for me.

>>Let's say you have v1_0 of CVSTest project in your Eclipse workspace.

How did you get it into your workspace in the first place? The other details
lead me to believe that the project really isn't tagged with that version - or
rather, the version doesn't really exist in the repository?

We'll need more details -- the description as provided works for me. Please
reopen if you have more details or specific steps we can reproduce the bug with.

I get the project (the project is under CVS and is tagged: we verified directly
with CVS command line) with Replace With/Branch or Version... to get a version
of my project.

Then if you try Team/Branch... the project's version is not automatically
selected and you can't branch. We try via CVS command line to do this and it
works.

It seems really a problem with CVSNT (we use CVSNT 1.11.1.3 Build 57f) because
we try with CVS under AIX 4.3 and it's working perfectly.

With CVS server on a Linux box, it also works.

Details, in case anyone cares:
I did a checkout on HEAD, then tagged my workspace content as a new version
"BeispielVersion", then I replaced with branch/version, so I choose that
"BeispielVersion" again, so I had that version in my workspace now.
(I admit it happens to be identical with the latest stuff on HEAD.)

I then started to create a new branch, which gave me the above screen shot.
As you can see, the version _is_ selected, and I did nothing to get that.
Clicking "OK" showed no problems, Properties/CVS tells me the project is
in BeispielBranch.

I believe this problem is fixed with CVSNT 1.11.1.3 build 57i
