Description

I'm not sure were you found a link to that page, but the news.eclipse.* mailing lists do not accept subscriptions. They only exist to provide an archive of their respective newsgroups. -M. Google found it. The newsgroup interface is inaccessible from within corporate networks, leaving the mailing list as the only option. It seems odd that the web based newsgroup interface(www.eclipse.org/newsgroups) doesn't work from behind your firewall. You could try connection to news.eclipse.org on port 80 since it listens there as well. -M. This presupposes that I succeed in getting a news reader installed on my machine, which given this network I am on is highly unlikely. |
