The "New" wizard should open with the first list having focus.
That way you can use keyboard navigation to select elements/advance etc.
As it is, noone has focus and you _must_ use your mouse to get anywhere.

This is essential for usability (and for those of us who try to reduce their mousing).

This is true for both hitting the "New" icon and "New->Project...".
