I have a setup where my dropins folder contains all the plugins from the EMF all in one download (http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/modeling/emf/emf/downloads/drops/2.4.0/I200712042004/emf-sdo-xsd-SDK-I200712042004.zip)

The first startup where the reconciler is activated takes some time. This is fine. However the startup following the deletion of only one plugin (e.g. the doc plugin) seems pretty slow for what needs to done (note that I don't have a remote repo setup).
