Status: CLOSED WONTFIX QA Contact:
Severity: normal

Hardware: PC
OS: Windows Vista
Whiteboard: stalebug

Description Samantha Chan CLA 2007-12-11 12:57:11 EST
1. Open a java file in the debug perspective (AllInstacesTests.java), and scroll to the top of the page
2. switch to java perspective
3. set a breakpoint at the bottom of the file.
4. debug and let it stop at the breakpoint
5. When asked to switch perspective, select Yes.

After the perspective is switched, you can see that the selection is on the stackframe, variables are displayed in the Variables View. The editor is scrolled to the bottom, but does not correctly reveal the current selection.

If you switch back to the Java perspective, the selection is correctly revealed.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
