Description DuWayne Morris CLA 2007-12-11 10:23:19 EST
Internet Explorer 7 cannot be used for recording IPv6 traffic due to a current limitation in browser configuration settings. The TPTP HTPP Recorder is a socks-based proxy that supports client connections via either socks version 4 or socks version 5. However, only socks version 5 supports IPv6. Internet Explorer 7 cannot be configured to connect to a socks 5 proxy server, it always connects via socks version 4. Earlier versions of IE do not provide full support for IPv6 and are likewise constrained to socks 4 proxy server settings.
