Assigning to Kaloyan for evaluation Looks reasonable to update the look and field on the suggested wizard page. I think it needs further discussion how to change it based on Kiril's suggestion. I would add that the Modules list should also display the icon of the corresponding module next to the check box. This way the user will get better understanding of the modules' type. Created attachment 125788 [details] patch Most of the recommendation in this patch are applied. However, I don't like the idea of having single widget in a separate group composite. Icons (see comment #2) are also not handled. There is another bug 248623 about this. Committed to HEAD Verified with the latest M6 build. |
Created attachment 84808 [details] Scheenshot of the page after the change. Build ID: I20070921-0919 Steps To Reproduce: 1.Open the new EAR wizard. 2.On the first page you can specify the project name. Note that the input field and the "Project Name:" are on the same line and in a different group. 3.The same applies for the "Directory:" label and its field again on the same page. 4. The labels and fields are also in different visual groups. 5. Specify valid value for the project name and go to the last page. 6. The "Content Directory:" label and its input field are not on the same line. 7.Also the different components in the wizard page are not in different groups as it is on the first page. 8. I have changed the look and I am attaching a screen-shot. If you think the look of the page is reasonable and "correct" I can also attach a patch for the page. 9. The "Generate Deployment descriptor" check button can also be put in a new group.
