We designed the API to store all parents for a task, but did not add this facility for Mylyn 2.0.  The need to iterate in order to look up the query or queries for a given task has been causing overly complicated client code and has been involved in numerous performance problems.

Also does this only involve the top level containers, or does this include parent tasks as well, ie inverse subtask?
