Description
Paul Slauenwhite
We can use the Hyades icon. The Hyades star cluster was observed during and Eclipse and proved the bending of light by the moon and thus the theory of relativity (test and measurement). See the attached versions. We will need get IP and legal approval to avoid copyright infringements before submitting this icon to Ganymede. Created attachment 83083 [details]

I actually don't think legal review is required. All we really need is for Chris to promise that he started with the Eclipse artwork and then did the modifications himself :-) I used the following methodology to create the icon * Copy Paul's TPTP icon (patch v1,v2) * Copy Eclipse basic Eclipse icon from Eclipse artwork * I then personally (i.e., myself) used Photoshop to scale line and stars from Paul's icon to fit size/shape of Eclipse artwork, copy, paste and cleanup The only materials used were my time, Eclipse artwork, and Paul's artwork. Created a new PNG version based on Chris' icon without the boarder (see attached). The new icon will be visible in the Help >> About Eclipse SDK and the Overview/What's New tabs of the Eclipse Welcome page (once 195652 is checked-in). The following files checked into CVS: /org.eclipse.tptp.platform.welcome/intro/css/graphics/tptp48_hover.png /org.eclipse.tptp.platform.welcome/intro/css/graphics/tptp48.png /org.eclipse.tptp.platform.welcome/intro/css/overview.css /org.eclipse.tptp.platform.welcome/intro/css/whatsnew.css The new icon will be visible in the Help >> About Eclipse SDK containing all of the TPTP features.
