Description
Edvard Scheffers
Sounds like a good idea to at least optionally filter these. Are the archived versions available in the web ui for selection or are they entirely hidden? The Version class already has an archived flag so it should be reasonably straight forward to implement. (In reply to comment #1) In the web ui the versions are entirely hidden. So in my opinion it doesn't even have to be optionally filtered. The JIRA documentation says about archived versions: "Archive: Hide an old version from Roadmap, Changelog, and in the JIRA User Interface." Sorry, I was thinking with the current API and implementation in the back of my head. Not displaying the old versions in the editor makes total sense. This is still an issue in 3.1. I would actually consider this a defect as it does not function like the Jira web interface does. This is particularly a troublesome issue when you are working in a quick moving environment that has numerous releases (our project has daily releases during alpha cycles). I have to wade through a very long list of versions to get to the one I need. Thomas, please consider working on this if there is enough time to address this for 3.2. The Mylyn JIRA Connector has moved to Atlassian. All unresolved Mylyn bugs assigned to the JIRA component, which includes this bug, have been copied to https://studio.atlassian.com/browse/PLE and marked as resolved on bugs.eclipse.org. The new location of this bug report can be found in the URL field. Please see this FAQ entry for further details: http://wiki.eclipse.org/Mylyn/FAQ#What_happened_to_the_Mylyn_JIRA_Connector.3F . |
