Steps To Reproduce:
There was efforts in GEF to update look and feel for the Palette view (https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=133385).  This is likely to be re-opened in 3.4.  If so the snippets view should have a consistent look and feel with the palette.  It won't have the requirement to render a pressed state of the entries, since they are not buttons as is the case with palette view.  But there are other areas to be addressed such as drawer bar, hover, etc.
