Description
Malte
Rank is a 2 pass aggregation. Will make investigation to see whether to support that. Hi There, Do you have a valid use case for supporting a Rank aggregation? It looks as if this kind of non-sumary aggregation is not useful in cross tab. Thanks. Lin Created attachment 83373 [details]
Crosstab example
Hi Lin, This is a typical crosstab I have to make. I even have to sort on the ranking, units or the share (whatever) I submited this suggestion in bug https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=206155 But I was away for a while and had no opportunity to answer to the last request. I hope this clarify my need. Sincerely Malte This is a valid use case, though we cannot fix it in 2.3.0. The reason is that Rank is a 2-pass aggregation, and we do not allow 2-pass aggregation in cube query at all. This bug is fixed. Rank function has been supported, Verified in 2.5.0 v20090423-0630 build, for other issue I have filed new entries. Mark this bug as verified first. |
