Fixed in HEAD . How exactly do you define "it doesn't require additional information. "? E.g. how does the preference dialog differ from the Perspective configuration dialog? The preference dialog also needs additional info, at least, which preference you want to change ;-) I guess we then have to go through the whole UI and change it because so far we added '...' when a (modal) dialog came up - simple rule. (Dani, please see refering bug so we don't have discussion in two places) verified in I20080429-0100 This is such a stupid bug report. To set the Preferences, you actually need a *hell* of additional information! The MS Vista guidelines that were probably used as input are completely unapproved. Vista has failed anyway. Look at the book "GUI Bloopers 2.0" for a real reference: Blooper 31, pp. 193 - 196! |
