Description Nick Edgar CLA 2001-10-10 22:25:29 EDT
The highlighting in the titlebar of the active view is compressed when there are toolbar buttons,
rather than continuing and drawing behind the toolbar buttons (and close box).
The more toolbar buttons there are, the shorter the highlighting is.

This looks funny, giving the titlebar an unpleasant, bruise-like mix of blue and grey,
and is inconsistent with the highlighting in the window titlebar (on Windows).

It can also lead to visual inconsistency within the workbench itself.
If I have two views, one above the other, or stacked together, where one has more toolbar buttons than the other,
then the highlighting has a different width between the two views. This is noticeable when switching between them.
E.g. try switching between the Properties and Outline views.

I agree, this was actually the first thing I noticed when I started using Eclipse. It just doesn't look as nice
as it could because of the colours fading to grey.

The reason the colours don't continue to fade behind the toolbar buttons is that the buttons take up the whole
	width of the titlebar.
