Nick has full access on emft.eclipse.org, so he can give you an account there. -M The idea here was to be able to ssh from dev to emft (and vice versa), for which a /bin/bash account is required instead of the /bin/cvssh account. Plus, to do build maintenance as the new VE releng guy, Philippe will need full filesystem acces and to be added to whatever the ve dev group is. Needs PMC approvals, bla bla blah... (please add the Tools PMC to the cc: here so they can approve). (In reply to comment #2) > Needs PMC approvals, bla bla blah... (please add the Tools PMC to the cc: here > so they can approve). > A real shell doesn't need PMC approval - this is a paranoid IT thing. I gave Philippe a shell ... use it wisely ;) Sure, and he did, yet I can only ssh to emft from a well know IP address, meaning the office. If I could ssh first to some eclipse box from anywhere, then to emft that would work. The thing is builds often take place at night :-) not in the office. Sorry: i replied out of order :-D Thanks alot I will use it wisely. Rest in peace :-D |
