Agreed, this would be useful. We're going to open up outbound (to destination) ports 80 and 443 for the vservers. This will let you load pretty much any package you want, but restricts it to HTTP access. FTP access is just to much of a shotgun. We won't setup a Proxy server. We will instead revert to allowing outgoing connections. If your vserver cannot connect to external hosts on ports 80 and port 443, please let me know. |
