Description Adam Schlegel CLA 2002-06-17 10:02:37 EDT
Build F3 - Linux-Motif

When focus is given to the navigator by closing the last editor, the nabigator
does not listen to keyboard input until manually selected by the user (using the
mouse).

1) Close all open editors
2) Open a file by double-clicking in the navigator
3) Run File->Close. Focus should return to the navigator.
4) Press 'delete' to delete the file you just opened. Nothing happens.
5) Press up/down arrows to change the selection. Nothing happens.
6) Click on the selected file. Now the navigator responds to the keyboard.

Adam, does using Ctrl+F7 work around the problem?
Comment 2 Mike Wilson CLA 2002-06-17 11:04:46 EDT
GG, please investigate. Is there something we can do about this for F4?
Comment 3 Mike Wilson CLA 2002-06-17 11:05:09 EDT
Is this related to the "arrow and tab key" fix?
Comment 4 Grant Gayed CLA 2002-06-17 11:46:47 EDT
I see this in F3 but not in my self-hosted with the latest swt, so I think that
this is fixed as a side-effect of Silenio's changes. I'll get today's build
when it becomes available and confirm that this no longer happens.
Comment 5 Grant Gayed CLA 2002-06-17 12:12:54 EDT
Confirmed that this is fixed in today's pending integration build as a result
of our changes last week. Closing.
