Description Pascal Rapicault CLA 2007-09-21 22:55:04 EDT
As follow up of bug #204338, I think it would be good to be able to set a name to the repo being generated and not default the name to the location of where it has been generated. For example our current repos says: /home/dj/...

The general case is that you setup the repos first and then generate. It is a convenience that the generator creates one for us. I'm actually thinking that we should remove that and figure a way of making it easy to create/configur repos. In the future we will have many different kinds of repos so that workflow needs to be first class.

fixed in HEAD

Pascal, what is the fix? Is there a new command-line argument? I will need to update local scripts for our local builds. Thanks.

You can specify -artifactRepositoryName and -metadataRepositoryName on the command line. http://wiki.eclipse.org/Equinox_p2_Metadata_Generator
