Description Wassim Melhem CLA 2007-09-10 13:16:00 EDT
Build ID: N/A

Steps To Reproduce:
My bugzilla rights as a committer have been revoked. I suspect it may have to do with my recent change of employer or some related confusion.

Can you please look into it or point me to some process I need to follow to rectify the situation?

So far bug 201483 has been silent.

Thanks.

Thanks Denis.

Hi Sharon,

First, thank you for continuing to read my blog for the latest news :)

My new employer is Embarcadero Technologies, an Eclipse member add-in provider. Please advise on how to proceed or contact me at the gmail address specified in this bug report.

Hey Wassim, you can just watch funny Youtube videos in the mean time or read cuteoverload.com!

On a serious note, I think this process of committers transitioning to other companies needs to be much easier to deal with. I tried to open up bug 201483 to make this information a bit more public.
Comment 4 Sharon Corbett CLA 2007-09-10 14:20:26 EDT
Hi Wassim: I tried to contact you at IBM but may have missed you as I had no
repsonse to my email. I will now update our records with your gmail address
for future communications.

While Embarcadero is a Member of Eclipse, they have not signed a Member
Committer Agreement. Therefore, you will need to submit the following two
signed documents:

Individual Committer Agreement -
http://www.eclipse.org/legal/committer_process/EclipseIndividualCommitterAgreementFinal.pdf

Sample to follow -
http://www.eclipse.org/legal/example-individual-committer-agreement-signature-block.gif

Eclipse Employer Consent Form -
http://www.eclipse.org/legal/committer_process/employer_consent.pdf

When received via fax and/or scanned and emailed, we can simply re-activate
your committer account within very short order.

If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thanks,
Sharon

Thank you, Sharon. That's simple enough.

I will have the forms faxed next week when my manager returns from Romania.

Wassim,

Kenn took immediate action on this and already has the necessary approvals in place with no suspension of services!

Hi Wassim: I received the Individual Committer Agreement which you signed this week; however, we are still awaiting the Employer Consent Form.

New Update. The Employer Consent Form just arrived.
