Description
Jared Burns
Double clicking on a file always open the structure compare independent from the setting in the preference. But we should reconsider this since comapre now honors Double/Single setting from the workbench The main reason for adding this preference was to avoid the accidental communication with CVS when there is a large file. Now that there is an explicit user action this preference is not critical anymore and it could actually be removed. Therefore no action for 2.0 No action for 2.0 Reopening *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 71285 *** I'd suggest reversing the "duplicate" relationship with bug 71285. Aside from the fact that this bug is four years older, I think this summary is more likely to be useful to others looking for dups. "Option has no effect" is not very descriptive. |
