Description
Gadi Goldbarg
This is an enhancement rather than a defect as it doesn't degrade the debugging experience. Should have added that the console is where other debuggers such as java send their output. I am a little unsure of the benefits of the PHP Debugger output view at this time. Dave, I think the only benefit of throwing output to the PHP debug output rather than the console is the ability to see the output as html since the PHP debug browser parses whatever in the PHP debug view. I have now added this support for PDT 2.0. It has also shown an issue with xdebug 2.0.3 where redirection doesn't work it will always copy. XDebug will in the future will allow for stderr as well (php messages) so this has been catered for already in this. code is complete, but see https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=243789 for an issue with the debug output.
