I cannot reproduce the problem.

Could you give the exact steps to reproduce it ?

1) Disable CVS client plugin from Product Configuration dialog. I am running this version of the plugin. Eclipse CVS Client 1.0.0.v20070606-7C79 79EI99g V9e.

2) Restart.

3) Try code completion on variables, methods etc using ctrl-space. It does not work.

4) Re enable and restart, verify that completion functionality returns.

I am not sure what other info I can give you. Is there some kind of debug mode or logging that you want me to send?

This is not a showstopper, I just leave the CVS client plugin on now. It's a weird interaction though.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
