Description Paul Slauenwhite CLA 2007-08-23 07:06:43 EDT
URL test runner does not capture standard out and error.

Each existing test runner captures standard out and error, converting to message events, and sending the message events back to the test harness, using the following internal class:

org.eclipse.hyades.test.common.runner.internal.util.AgentConsoleStream.java

The URL test runner should do the same to assist testers/users in debugging URL test execution.

Duwayne, I will handle this defect since I did the work for the other test runners.
Comment 6 Paul Slauenwhite CLA 2008-05-01 08:32:05 EDT
URL test suites are executed using the JUnit test runner. That is, they are executed by the org.eclipse.hyades.test.java.runner.HyadesJUnitRunner.java, which uses the org.eclipse.hyades.test.common.runner.internal.util.AgentConsoleStream.java to capture standard out and error.

Using the TPTP 4.5 I6 driver, standard out and error are both captured when executing URL test suites.

Returning as WORKSFORME.
