adding PDE's extension registry work to this one
Comment 2 David Kyle CLA 2007-11-07 17:49:51 EST
Any chance of adding bug 155704. Yes, it is a Platform/Resource bug but it does affect performance of large eclipse based products like our Seismic Interactive Processing Environment which is based on Eclipse RCP. We deal with terabyte sized files. Thanks! :)
Comment 3 David Kyle CLA 2007-12-04 14:54:28 EST
Another bug that affects scalability of the Eclipse framework is bug 48291.
Comment 4 Mike Wilson CLA 2008-06-09 15:48:28 EDT
Marking as FIXED to align with move to Committed items list in the plan. As usual, there will always be more that can be done to improve scalability/performance and I expect that this work will continue in 3.5
